My initial training as a nurse exposed me to various areas of conventional medicine. Working in a birthing center in South Africa was a very enriching experience. In search of what would truly satisfy me, I had a personal experience with homeopathy. In homeopathy, the human being is understood as a unity of body, mind, and soul. This topic also led me to energy training with Barbara Brennan and Karina Schelde (Soul Voice®) and Esalen massage.

Homeopathy was developed over 200 years ago by the physician and pharmacist Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on the principle of similarity.

At the heart of homeopathy is the human being as a whole, comprising body, soul, and spirit. Illnesses are not viewed as isolated organic disorders, but as disturbances in the human life force.

The aim of homeopathic treatment is to activate the self-healing powers (vital force) in order to release blockages so that the best possible health and well-being can be restored on all levels.

The basic rule of homeopathy is: "Like cures like" (Hahnemann called it "Similia similibus curentur"). Homeopathy means similar suffering.

As a homeopath, I try to find the remedy that best reflects the noticeable symptoms and personality of each client.
In classical homeopathy, only one remedy is used.
