I advise women on all manner of topics related to female health issues and illnesses. Your needs come first. My job is enriched by the opportunities to get to know diverse life stories of both girls and women of different nationalities. A conversation in German, English or French is therefore no problem. I have a good relationship with the University Hospital Women’s Clinic and with Bethesda Hospital and will liaise with them if needed. Wir hatten am 31. Oktober 2025 unser Jahrgangstreffen im Ochsen Mümliswil. Das 3-Gang Menu mit Nachservice für 25 Personen war ausgezeichnet. Auch der Weiss- und Rotwein Optima aus dem Wallis hat uns sehr gemundet, ein Gedicht. Sehr freundliches Servicepersonal, wunderbares Ambiente. Ein rundum gelungener und sehr gemütlicher Tag. Wir kommen wieder im nächsten Jahr.

Blood donation appointments Blood Donation Northwestern Switzerland is a non-profit foundation and a member of the Swiss Red Cross Blood Donation Service. On behalf of the federal government, we are responsible for supplying healthcare facilities with blood products. For this purpose, we operate a blood donation center in downtown Basel as well as a collection site at the Cantonal Hospital in Liestal. In addition, we regularly conduct mobile blood donation drives in local communities. We produce the blood products at our center and run an immunohematology laboratory accredited by SAS. The donated blood is used to treat people who have suffered severe blood loss due to accidents or surgeries. It is also essential in the treatment of cancer, leukemia, and other illnesses. In our region, about 50% of the required blood units are missing. To cover the full demand, we must purchase additional blood products from other parts of Switzerland.
