Our company was founded by Florent Alimi and Fabrizio Monella, both certified plasterers and drywall builders (EFZ). With our training, experience, and dedication, we set standards in the industry. We combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques to offer our customers long-lasting, precise, and aesthetically pleasing solutions.

Our team includes highly qualified staff who have been passionately pursuing their profession for many years. In addition to experienced specialists, our team also includes young, committed employees. The harmonious cooperation of these diverse talents leads to an efficient work group. Atelier Daniel Caprez – Sculptor Rüchligweg 65, 4125 Riehen (Niederholz) My studio is located on the industrial site in Rüchlig. The best way to reach me by public transport is via bus lines 34 or 38, or with the S6 train (from Basel SBB) to Niederholz station. From there, follow Rauracherstrasse under the railway bridge – immediately after, turn left into Rüchligweg. After about 300 meters you will see the gate to the industrial area on your right. Enter through the gate and you will arrive directly at my studio, which is partly housed in a converted shipping container. By car, you can reach me via Riehenstrasse or Bäumlihofstrasse. Then turn into Rauracherstrasse, and after the railway bridge take a left into Rüchligweg. About Me I, Daniel Caprez, was born in 1965 in Chur, where I also grew up. • 1982–1986 : Apprenticeship as a sculptor with Walter Käsermann, Chur • 1987–1989 : Worked in the workshop of Hubert Müller, Oberried SG • from 1989 : Moved to Basel, employed in the stonecutting department of Züblin & Wenk • 1991–1995 : Worked with Paul Holinger, Liestal – specialized in gravestones and natural stone facades • since 1995 : Independent sculptor with my own workshop • since 2006 : Studio at the industrial site in Rüchlig, Riehen

We realise shopfitting solutions – from permanent fixtures to pop-up stores. With our own carpentry workshop, we ensure short processes, flexibility and consistent quality in every step. Everything we build is designed for everyday use, built to last and used throughout modern shopping centres across Switzerland. In addition to retail projects, we also work for private clients and public administrations – and since 2024, in the field of recycling solutions from ET+D Egli Trading & Distribution GmbH, which will operate under the LAFAG brand from 2026 onwards. We build custom-made wardrobes, shelving systems and display cases that integrate seamlessly into existing spaces – functional, durable and crafted with great attention to detail. Our bespoke pieces are produced in our own workshop and are used primarily in Basel, the Basel region and the Dorneck municipalities. We are a Swiss family-owned business with a well-coordinated and experienced team. Many of our employees have been with us for decades – one of them for 44 years. This wealth of experience from countless projects flows into our work every day and has done so for over 50 years. With strong roots in the Basel region, we are well established in Basel, the Baselbiet and the communities of the Dorneck area. We value collaboration, encourage shared activities such as company outings and maintain an open, respectful working culture.
