ECAP is a non-commercial and non-profit adult education institute in Switzerland. Headquartered in Zurich, there are nine regional branches throughout Switzerland. With its courses, the intercultural organisation enables the education of migrants and employees in general, including those with little formal education. With more than 50,000 participants per year, ECAP is the second largest adult education institute in Switzerland – and the number one school for German and integration courses. Our main activities are: • Courses for the achievement of professional qualification (Art. 33 of the BBG) for construction (bricklayers, plasterer, painter), for sales (detail trade specialist EFZ and retail trade assistant EBA), as well as for metalworkers and blind fitters • Refresher courses for architects, engineers, designers etc. with AutoCAD • Refresher courses in the hotel and catering industry («The ABCs of the hotel industry and catering») • Business management, in cooperation with the Vocational and Trade School (SPAI) in Trevano • Computer science courses (introduction and consolidation in Word, Excel, Access, Internet, PowerPoint) with the possibility of obtaining the «European Computer Driving Licence» (ECDL) • Professional language courses (German and English in sales or commercial areas) with the possibility of obtaining the respective telc certificates • Literacy courses in cooperation with the Association Leggere & Scrivere della Svizzera italiana • Founding of company • Atelier TRI, application techniques for unemployed persons • Italian language courses in various municipalities, with the possibility of obtaining CELI certificates • «Preparatory Examination Courses» for electrical and masonry apprentices, in cooperation with Unia. GORLA was founded as a body shop over 35 years ago, on May 2, 1988, with a focus on the Mendrisiotto market and the entire Canton of Ticino. After gaining solid experience in its original field, bodywork, the company progressively expanded its offering by integrating complementary and specialized services. These include the replacement and repair of vehicle glass for light and heavy vehicles, the tinting and decoration of glass surfaces for vehicles and buildings, car wrapping (full or partial), digital printing and the decoration of vehicles and various objects (window stickers, shops, interiors and exteriors), as well as the application of protective PPF films (Paint Protection Film) . In addition, all major mechanical services have been integrated, both for regular maintenance and for extraordinary interventions , strengthened by the official recognition of two major brands: Tesla and GM .
