The name Böscioro comes from the dialect of the chimney sweep of Vogorno and means wine. At first, it was a secondary activity, but over time, with much passion and dedication, the company grew, increasing both grape and wine production. THE PRIVILEGED POSITION OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO'S VINEYARDS Cantina Böscioro, located in the Ticino region of Italian-speaking Switzerland, owns several parcels of vineyard land distributed throughout the surrounding area, including those located in the Gerra Piano area, where the cellar is located. The geographical location of the region, with its Mediterranean climate and exposure to the sun, offers optimal conditions for grape cultivation and the production of high-quality wines. In particular, the vineyards are located in hilly areas between Gordola and Gudo, where they benefit from excellent sun exposure that allows for high-quality grapes. Part of the vineyards are partially mechanized with small tools, while another part is located in the plains in Quartino, where another grape variety is cultivated. All this contributes to ensuring the excellence of the wines produced by Cantina Böscioro. PRODUCTION OF HIGH-QUALITY WINES AND ATTENTION TO GRAPE SELECTION Cantina Böscioro is a company dedicated to the production of high-quality wines, carefully selecting the grapes grown in its own vineyards. Unsere Gruppe vom 100er-Club FC Winterthur wurde in Zandone bestens betreut, informiert und verwöhnt. Beeindruckt waren wir vom Barriquekeller mit dem theatralisch aufgemachten Cheminée mit echtem Feuer, dem informativen Museum, natürlich der modernen Produktion und nicht zuletzt dem sorgfältig betreuten Reifelager für den Aceto balsamico. Die liebevoll gestaltete Degustation bildete den krönenden Abschluss. Beim anschliessenden Diner in der Botega del Vino in Locarno war das Team dort für eine nahtlose Fortsetzung des gelungenen Anlasses besorgt.
