Swiss Indoors Basel - the largest recurring sporting event in Switzerland and one of the most important indoor tournaments in the world. The Swiss Indoors traditionally takes place in Basel and is marked by the final sprint to the ATP Tour Finals in Turin. Tennis for everyone Danny Freundlieb has been running his tennis school for 40 years. In 1980, he was number 13 in Switzerland. Today, he is one of the few tennis coaches with a Swiss federal diploma and he brings substantial experience, from teaching beginners to coaching top-class players. The highest goal of the tennis school is to stimulate enthusiasm for tennis in as many people as possible, and to motivate them to play tennis with their families, friends and colleagues. In order to meet the specific requirements of our various players, we offer a wide range of courses. Whether you are young or old, an occasional player or a top athlete, our school has a place for everyone.

The structure of the Centro Cadro Panoramica is beautifully set in the greenery and enjoys a magnificent view of the city of Lugano, the lake and the surrounding mountains. In this peaceful location, just 5 km from the center of Lugano, we rent around 100 furnished apartments of various sizes and styles. Our complex includes a swimming pool with garden, two indoor tennis courts with two squash courts, six outdoor tennis courts, a mini-golf course and a small children’s playground, all in excellent condition. In addition, there is the “Grottino” restaurant which offers pizza and other culinary specialities. RUSTICS: In typical Ticino style, we have nine houses with apartments and studios of different sizes and furnishings. MAIN BUILDING: In the main building we have 40 studio apartments, most of which have a balcony with spectacular views of Lugano and the lake. RESIDENCE: In the residence we have 20 apartments from 1 ½ to 3 ½ rooms, including parking space in the garage.

Ich verbringe immer gerne Zeit in der Nordtangente Bar. Hier kann man gute Gespräche führen und gemeinsam auf den vielen Bildschirmen Fußball, Eishockey, Boxen, Rugby und andere Sportarten verfolgen. Das Barpersonal ist in der Regel freundlich, und der Chef versteht es ebenfalls, für gute Stimmung zu sorgen. Die Preise für die Getränke sind sehr fair und liegen oft unter denen anderer Bars in Basel oder größeren Schweizer Städten. Das Ambiente der Bar ist hervorragend: Es gibt gemütliche Sofas, zahlreiche Sitzgelegenheiten und die Musik, die meistens von den 80ern bis 2010er Jahren reicht, sorgt für eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Beleuchtung ist angenehm und weder zu hell noch zu dunkel. Häufig finden auch Live-Konzerte statt, bei denen talentierte Sänger, Sängerinnen und Musiker auftreten. Für Familien mit Kindern gibt es die Möglichkeit, Billard, Tischfußball oder Dart zu spielen.
