In our online shop you will find all our products. If you prefer to browse in our shop in person, we are open from Monday to Friday. We also organise courses with experienced instructors. Open to the public for a quarter of a century, the Vallorbe Caves in the Jura mountains of the Canton of Vaud offer a fascinating spectacle of mineral beauty enhanced by lighting. For millions of years the limestone layers have been eroded by the Orbe, a river that flows underground before flowing back from the rock as a spring whose most faithful witnesses are the caves of Vallorbe. Inside these cavities, which are among the most beautiful in Europe, there is a mineral exhibition, "Le Trésor des Fées", which includes a collection of 250 minerals from all over the world under four domes dug into the rock.

In enclosures designed close to nature, you can observe mainly native animals such as deer, chamois, bison, lynx, fox, wildcat and wild boar. At the adventure farm, you can discover woolly pigs, donkeys, ponies, goats and rabbits in their natural habitat. The zoo has been home to a group of wolves since 2024. We offer guided tours and children's birthday parties. Support the zoo with an animal or tree sponsorship and become a member of the Erlen-Verein Basel.
