Metal Roofing and Lightning Protection Systems – Professional Solutions for Your Roof and Building A metalworking service offers a wide range of services related to roofing and facades, enhancing not only the aesthetics of your building but also its functionality and safety. Especially when combined with lightning protection systems , these services play a crucial role in protecting your property. Here's why high-quality metalwork and reliable lightning protection are so important. Metal Roofing – Precision and Craftsmanship for Your Roof Metalworking encompasses all tasks related to the processing of metals in construction. Common materials include copper, zinc, and aluminum, which are preferred for their durability and weather resistance. The main services provided by a metalworking shop include: • Gutters and downpipes : These safely direct rainwater away from the roof, protecting the building's structure from water damage. • Dormers and metal roofs : Metalworkers create custom dormers that enhance the roof's appearance and add extra living space. Metal roofs are particularly robust and offer long-lasting protection from the elements. • Cladding and sealing : Metal facade cladding gives buildings a modern design while providing additional protection against wind and weather. Through the precise work of metalworkers, roofs and facades become more resilient to external influences while also being aesthetically pleasing. Lightning Protection Systems – Safety for Your Home and Family Lightning strikes can cause significant damage to buildings and pose a serious threat to occupants. A professional lightning protection system mitigates these risks by safely directing the lightning current to the ground, protecting the building from fires and surges. The key components of a lightning protection system include: • External lightning protection : This consists of air terminals, conductors, and grounding systems that capture the lightning strike and safely divert it into the ground. • Internal lightning protection : Surge protection devices prevent electronic equipment in the house from being damaged by a lightning strike. Proper installation is essential to ensure the lightning protection system functions reliably. A certified and experienced provider ensures compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Why Metalworking and Lightning Protection Go Hand in Hand The combination of high-quality metalwork and an effective lightning protection system ensures that your roof not only looks great but also provides maximum protection. An experienced metalworker can design gutters and cladding in a way that seamlessly integrates with the lightning protection system, enhancing both the safety and longevity of your property. Conclusion Whether it's new construction or renovation, the right combination of professional metalwork and a modern lightning protection system is essential to protect your building from weather-related damage and lightning strikes. Trust experienced craftsmen who offer both aesthetic and functional solutions to safeguard your home in the long term.

Staub AG

Gsteigstrasse 175, 3784 Feutersoey

F our generations of carpentry Our company dates back to 1904 when Johann Staub started a small carpenter’s workshop in Rougement, before moving to Saanen in the following year. Almost forty years later the founder’s son took over the business. Hans Staub then started selling furniture as well. The next generation took over in 1969, when Max Staub expanded the business. In 1971 he and his wife, Elisabeth, opened the furniture shop in Gstaad. In the meantime, the company had grown to such a size that it moved in 1989 to new and bigger carpentry premises in Feutersoey. The old sawmill was converted into a workshop. A year later the carpentry business expanded its range to include kitchens. The acquisition of the first CNC machining centre in 1999 marked a key technological advance. It permits the highly-efficient manufacture of furniture and construction elements as well as solid wood processing. Once again, it was time for a further expansion. In 2007 an extension was added to the carpentry workshop. Then in 2011 the fourth generation took over the company. During all these years and successive generations our passion for wood as a material and our craftsmanship have remained unchanged – work which, despite all the technological developments, still places the skills of an individual person at the centre of the process.
