In the regional office in Aargau, more than 150 employees are involved in various projects and courses. The courses offered are primarily aimed at adult migrants. They are based on the latest methodological and didactic findings and adapted to the specific needs and realities of the participants. Our courses offer people with a migrant background access to continuing education and therefore to life in Switzerland. Our team is committed to helping our course participants with enthusiasm. ECAP Aargau offers a wide range of German language courses at various levels as well as integration and vocational training projects for foreign-language adults. ECAP has been active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2007. The first regional office was opened in Lausanne in 2009 thanks to the implementation of a project in cooperation with the UNIA Vaud Trade union. As a result of the development of our activities, a second seat was inaugurated in Vevey in 2010 and we have further developed our field of activity and our educational programme. ECAP Vaud currently offers courses in Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fond, Le Sentier, Neuchâtel, Nyon, Vevey and Yverdon-les-Bains. ECAP Vaud is an active member of the Coordination romande pour la formation de base des adultes (CRFBA) and the Vaud platform of French courses as a foreign language. ECAP Vaud has also signed a cooperation agreement with UNIA Vaud. ECAP Vaud is involved in several European adult education projects. ECAP Vaud has a small team of 40 teachers, working with enthusiasm and professionalism in an informal working environment. We give great importance to the exchange of views and mutual respect.
