For more than 50 years, ECAP Basel has been a reliable partner for migrants and institutions when it comes to professional and social integration. Our courses are adapted to the specific needs and realities of the participants and provide access to continuing education for people who are unfamiliar with education. We are constantly developing our courses further. New projects and courses can also be developed and carried out at short notice. We have many years of experience and competence in educational work as well as motivated and well-trained course leaders. We systematically evaluate the results of our courses in order to guarantee the highest possible quality. More than 150 employees help us achieve our goals and teach our courses. Founded in the mid-1970s, ECAP Solothurn is one of the oldest regional offices of ECAP. The courses offered are primarily aimed at migrants. They are based on the latest methodological and didactic findings and are constantly being expanded. It is low-threshold and adapted to the group-specific concerns (e.g. women, illiterate and unemployed) and realities of the participants. The car-free road winds gently upwards, crossing the Ova da Roseg twice and ending at 2,000 meters above sea level at the Roseg Glacier Hotel Restaurant. Behind the hotel, a large plain stretches out towards the glacier lake. THE BIRTH OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO Cantina Böscioro was founded in 1992 by Vosti Enos and Gabriela with the construction of the cellar in Gerra-Piano. The name Böscioro comes from the dialect of the chimney sweep of Vogorno and means wine. At first, it was a secondary activity, but over time, with much passion and dedication, the company grew, increasing both grape and wine production. Today, the cellar produces high-quality wines that reflect the commitment and passion of the Böscioro family for viticulture. THE PRIVILEGED POSITION OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO'S VINEYARDS Cantina Böscioro, located in the Ticino region of Italian-speaking Switzerland, owns several parcels of vineyard land distributed throughout the surrounding area, including those located in the Gerra Piano area, where the cellar is located. The geographical location of the region, with its Mediterranean climate and exposure to the sun, offers optimal conditions for grape cultivation and the production of high-quality wines. In particular, the vineyards are located in hilly areas between Gordola and Gudo, where they benefit from excellent sun exposure that allows for high-quality grapes. Part of the vineyards are partially mechanized with small tools, while another part is located in the plains in Quartino, where another grape variety is cultivated. All this contributes to ensuring the excellence of the wines produced by Cantina Böscioro. PRODUCTION OF HIGH-QUALITY WINES AND ATTENTION TO GRAPE SELECTION Cantina Böscioro is a company dedicated to the production of high-quality wines, carefully selecting the grapes grown in its own vineyards. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the cellar and carefully selected to produce different qualities of wine, including whites, rosés, and reds.
