Christian Solidarity International (CSI) is a Christian human rights and aid organization. Christian Solidarity International (CSI) was founded by Rev. Hansjürg Stückelberger on April 15, 1977 in Binz bei Maur, Zurich, following silent marches for persecuted Christians in 1975, when 15,000 people took to the streets in Zurich and Bern. As a human rights organization CSI campaigns on behalf of persecuted Christians and religious minorities. At the same time, CSI provides practical help in 14 countries as well as emergency and disaster relief. CSI has affiliates in seven countries. CSI-International and CSI-Switzerland have their headquarters in Binz bei Maur, Zurich.

Our slogan says it all: AVC is an international relief organization that works worldwide for persecuted Christians and those in need. Hand in hand with local partners, we are committed to helping the needy and forgotten of this world in over sixty countries on four continents. We work in the hotspots - where persecution of Christians meets spiritual and material need. Our mission consists of the following three areas of activity: • Assisting persecuted Christians Persecution of Christians has many faces. Worldwide, well over 309 million people are discriminated, disowned, disinherited, mistreated, expelled, imprisoned, tortured or killed – simply because they want to follow Jesus and live their faith peacefully. AVC gives these people a voice and supports them practically: courageously, resolutely, effectively. • Helping people in need Poor, without opportunities, without hope, without prospects: This is the life reality for billions of people. AVC helps in the areas of this world with structural poverty or in the middle of crisis, disaster, and war. And very close, in the forgotten countries of Europe.
