We work with sheet metal in all its forms: Our company was founded on 1 November 1981 by Otto Büchel. Sheet metal processing is our home and we know our way around it. We quickly realised that we wanted to develop from a simple sheet metal processor into a system supplier. Büchel Blech AG has been certified to the latest ISO 9001:2015 quality standard since 1999. In 2005, long-time employee Alex Maierhofer took over the management of the company. We have always regarded sound financial business principles as the basis for the steady and natural development of our company. Due to the succession plan, the company was handed over to Marco Büchel on 1 January 2011. He was the sole managing director of Büchel Blech AG until the end of March 2019. In April 2019, he expanded the management team and has been in charge of production and logistics ever since. Back in 2011, Hubert Stocker took over the Finance department and actively supported Büchel Blech AG from then on. Hubert Stocker has been a member of the Executive Board of Büchel Blech AG since April 2019. Mario Wolfinger also joined Büchel Blech AG in April 2019. He is the third member of the management team and is responsible for the areas of design, AVOR, administration and quality. Through our honest and sincere dealings with business partners and our employees, we want to show everyone the appreciation they deserve. We are a family company located in the heart of eastern Switzerland - in the middle of Appenzell. We produce printed products to high class finishing products. Cutting, folding, punching, binding, punching tab, glue binding eg. are until only little steps at our Industrial-Bookbinding. Our Handmade-Bookbinding produce with hight safety controll for municipality, cantons, law firm and privat persons. Thanks to our almost 100 years of experiance and know-how, we can rely not only on ourselves, but also on our machines. Constant innovations are part of meeting today's standards and customer requirements on a daily basis. Our focus is on the prouction of Wiro/wire comb binding/spiral binding. We can bind from one sheet up to a book block thickness of 20mm. We process individual products using our extremely large machine park. We process small to large orders inline using our unique system. Our gathering machine on the 1st floor of the 3-story building impresses with 36 stations. Can process single sheets as well as folded sheets with an maximum size of 29.7 x 42.0cm. The assemnled book block is trimmed inline "all around" by a 4-site cutter. The book block is divided, punched with round holes (hollow stamp), collected again and bound. Thanks to our inline wirde former, we can also produce large quantities at a price that is absolutely fair. Fair discussed - fairly produced. Made in Switzerland is very important here. Of course, we also like to work across the borders. We stand by our quality. We are convinced that we dan produce something beautiful from four products. We process hotmelt or hotmelt with PUR properties. The brochures are trimmed on a stand-alone three-knife trimmer. This allows us to trim the products gently on three sides, without the risk of press marks or crushed spines, which can often occur on a plan cutter. As you can see, we are full of surprises.
