About us

Hello, I am Ivan Dietsche. My passion is knives of all kinds, for various purposes. In my shop in the beautiful old town of Altstätten, I produce custom knives according to customer specifications in my small workshop. I also offer knife-making courses throughout the year, where customers can make their own personal knife. My shop stocks many different knife brands. And if your knives are no longer sharp, you can of course bring them to my sharpening service to have them resharpened.

I welcome you to my store in the beautiful old town of Altstätten. Even on rainy days, you can stroll under the arches and linger in the shop window.
The shop is a mixture of salesroom and workshop. This means that all handmade knives come from the back of the shop. The sharpening service and knife courses also take place there.

Here you will find handmade unique items and various exciting brands.

The Buuremarkt farmers' market is also held weekly in the old town, where I am always present on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (April-October).

Custom-Handmade Knievs

Since I am also a knife enthusiast myself, there are always a few new projects in the works. I always offer to create custom kitchen knives for you. You are also welcome to visit me in the store for this. In the shop, you will always find some of my creations that are currently available.
