Trauma therapy

• Shock trauma: Somatic Experiencing according to Dr. Peter Levine

• Developmental trauma: Neuroaffective Relationship Model (NARM) according to Dr. Lawrence Heller. Developmental trauma can arise – usually in early or very early childhood – where biological and psychological development was impaired in terms of both the nervous system and relationships. The path from the resulting deregulation and associated survival strategies to self-regulation and presence is guided by the question: "What is preventing me from being fully present in this moment, in relation to myself and others?" and explores possible answers to this question on a cognitive, emotional, and physical level.

  Bonding: Support for the bonding process between babies and parents, e.g., in cases of birth trauma or postpartum depression. In collaboration with Gina Baldsiefen, aspects of Mechthild Deyringer's body-centered "bonding through touch" method, Prof. A. Fröhlich's Basal Stimulation®, Thomas Harms' body psychotherapy-based "Emotional First Aid EEH," and PD Dr. Karl-Heinz Brisch's SAFE program are incorporated. The work is also based on Ray Castellino's principles for working with babies and parents.
