General tasks of the civil engineering department
Project management and senior site management for large-scale projects
Planning, project management (including tendering) as well as construction, operation, and maintenance
of municipal roads and ancillary facilities in accordance with the Road Act
of municipal wastewater facilities, including sewage treatment plants for public waters
Acquisition of land for roads and sidewalks
Road names and house numbering (in close consultation with the Geomatics and Surveying Department)
Road and parking lot markings, insofar as this falls within the municipality's remit, in close consultation with the police authorities
Public transport, bus operation in cooperation with the SZU
Project planning and development of renewable energy sources
