digitalSTROM connects electrical devices with each other in a simple way. Electricity consumption becomes visible and measurable. At the same time, safety and convenience increase.

An ant-sized chip makes it possible: installed directly in the devices
or in an adapter plug, it allows the devices to communicate with each other. This works via the existing 230 V power grid. Installation takes just a few simple steps. digitalSTROM devices mediate between power generation and power consumption. The digitalSTROM chip reduces the standby consumption of electrical devices from the conventional 3 to 5 watts to less than 0.3 watts. Devices only consume electricity when it is really necessary. At the same time, the power consumption of individual devices becomes visible. A simple traffic light system indicates unusually high power consumption. The small red light indicates unwanted operation or defective devices. A worn refrigerator seal can thus be detected just as quickly and repaired by a specialist as a dripping faucet. digitalSTROM helps to reduce power consumption thanks to comprehensive transparency of consumption.

Fewer buttons, more convenience

Above all, however, digitalSTROM is a convenience system: networked devices can be controlled via any switch in a room, different lighting moods can be called up at the touch of a button, blinds can be raised and lowered, and even the stereo system can be controlled via a conventional light switch. "Fewer buttons, more convenience" is the credo of the system, which makes reading a user manual unnecessary. If that's not enough, complex structures can be implemented using a standard browser...
