As’trame supports children, young people and families facing major disruptions to family bonds such as parental separation, divorce, bereavement, serious illness or psychological fragility, with particular attention to children’s needs.[1][2][3][4][7]

For parental separation, As’trame offers a first individual interview, the “Ma Famille Autrement” pathway, group support for children over 5 sessions, sibling support, family sessions, coparenting sessions, counselling interviews and individual follow-up for adults, children and young people.[2][3]

“Ma Famille Autrement” targets both children’s and young people’s needs and family dynamics. It starts with intake interviews with parents to define suitable support, then offers a 5-session group, sibling or individual pathway to address changes related to separation and to find ways to cope with this crisis.[2][3]

As’trame’s services are paid, but the fees are adjusted to each family’s financial means. For the separation support in Lausanne, the first consultation costs CHF 30 (CHF 10 in case of financial difficulties), and subsequent fees are adapted according to financial capacity, with a minimum rate for young people without their own income.[2][3]

Families can contact As’trame by telephone or via a contact form. An initial assessment by phone determines whether As’trame follow-up is appropriate for the family’s situation, and then suitable support is proposed.[2]
