Kimio Fukami Architecte Sàrl

Kimio Fukami graduated as an architect from EPFL in 1999 and has been working in the field of architecture for over 25 years. He has been a member of the SIA (Society of Engineers and Architects) since early 2016.

After working as a project manager in Lausanne offices and then as a group manager in the UNIL construction department, he founded the Kimio Fukami Architecte studio in Lausanne in 2015. He has been working there full-time since January 1, 2018. On March 16, 2018, the company became a limited liability company. His versatile profile, both in the project and implementation phases, allows him to oversee all stages of a project.

The KFA studio regularly collaborates with other architecture studios, whether for competitions, project phases, or implementation.

The studio is active in the fields of architecture, interior design, renovation, rehabilitation, and urban planning (architecture competitions, feasibility studies, projects, and implementations).

The approach is the same for large and small-scale projects:

• analysis of constraints and challenges

• matching the program to the site and existing structures

• formalization of the project

The result must strike the right balance between user needs, financial possibilities, and the highest architectural quality that can be offered.
