ARS LABOR, a company established and operating in Lugano since 1995, deals with the conservation and restoration of works of art as well as the sale and purchase of antiques. The company's main activities are concentrated at its headquarters in Via Olgiati 4, where visitors are welcomed into a colorful and varied environment where aesthetic sense, manual skills, and artistic sensibility come together.

The workshop is equipped to carry out a wide range of activities in the field of conservative restoration: paintings, statues, frames, and furniture arrive here in poor condition and are given a new lease of life, restoring the works of art to their original usability.In addition to the activities carried out in the workshop, there are also those carried out off-site: the restoration and conservation of works on masonry, stucco, and fittings in various materials, both outside and inside buildings. We also boast a wealth of experience in the field of pure and simple decoration and the complete restoration of ornamental elements using techniques that have fallen into disuse.

We are available to provide estimates, offer consultations, and conduct historical-artistic and diagnostic investigations based on analyses of the state of conservation, constituent materials, and execution techniques—specialist appraisals, stratigraphic analyses, and archival research.
