He graduated with honors in Bologna with a thesis on arthroscopic knee surgery at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute.

He then began his professional career at the COF in Lanzo d'Intelvi, where he worked on hip and knee replacements. In 2016, he continued his training at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, where he has been deputy head of orthopedic surgery for the past two years since 2019. From 2021 to 2023, he will continue to hold the same position at the University Hospital of Fribourg, where he will further develop his skills in hip and knee surgery. In June 2023, he will return to Ticino as head of the OBV in Mendrisio until he takes over the practice of Prof. M. Denti at Ars Medica, past president of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy, starting January 1, 2024.

• open, prosthetic, and arthroscopic knee surgery;

• minimally invasive prosthetic surgery (primary and revision prostheses) of the hip;
