Wood or wood-metal windows?

This is the first question to ask yourself when building or renovating your home. This choice is the starting point for high-quality materials with the same goal: to provide sound and thermal insulation for your windows.

Wood, which lost market share in the 1960s due to poor installation and the simple fact that it rots, has regained its prestige thanks to research into profiles, joints, and, above all, factory finishes, which allow it to be completely insulated while still allowing it to breathe.
There are still windows from the 1900s in perfect condition, thanks to regular maintenance. This is where it really differs from wood-metal windows: maintenance.

The "Rolls Royce" of windows is the NRB type wood-metal window, which allows you to have the warmth of wood on the inside and a powder-coated aluminum covering on the outside to withstand the elements and UV rays. It is designed for buildings with large glass elements and curtain walls (public buildings, special facades).

You will also find the NF type wood-metal window, which has the same characteristics as the NRB but is designed more for houses or renovations. For both types of windows, we can manufacture them in M (minergy) type with concealed opening. These are designed for sober constructions without loss of light.
