A dental practice for the entire population

The Dental Medical Service (hereinafter SMD) of Croce Verde Lugano has been offering quality dental care and prophylaxis to the entire population since 1915. Qualified and experienced dentists and dental hygienists welcome patients for the following services:

 Treatment

Medical care:

• oral surgery (extractions, minor surgery)

• endodontics (root canal treatment)

• implantology

• surgery under general anesthesia

• conservative dentistry (treatment of tooth decay)

• removable prostheses (total and partial)

• fixed prostheses (crowns and bridges)

Dental hygiene:

• application of tooth whitening gel

• prevention of periodontal disease (gingivitis and periodontitis)

• dental prophylaxis (teeth and supporting tissues)

• Teeth whitening

The service accepts patients by appointment and in emergencies (after contacting us by phone) from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  The team

The SMD team, which is competent and constantly updated, is coordinated by Dr. Claudio Colosimo, health manager, and Mr. Yari Lipp, operations manager, and consists of:

• five dentists

• four dental hygienists

• one prophylaxis assistant,

• four dental assistants

• two dental assistant trainees

• one administrative manager

• one receptionist trained as a dental assistant

  The facility

Located on the second floor of the building in Pregassona, at Via alla Bozzoreda 46, the SMD has recently renovated spaces, six state-of-the-art medical offices equipped with traditional radiology and an orthopantomograph for 3D diagnostics.

The service, which is free of architectural barriers, is easily accessible by public transport (TPL "Croce Verde" stops), has a number of reserved parking spaces, several public parking spaces less than 5 minutes away, and a parking space reserved for patients with disabilities.
