About w A24

My name is Marc Winhofer and I founded the interior design studio w A24 in 2024.

Here is a little insight into what motivated me to do so:

My passion for the hotel industry began early on and shaped my career. The idea of offering people an unforgettable stay motivated me to pursue a career in the industry. The professions in a hotel are varied and diverse. This is how I learned what it means to understand the needs of guests and to constantly strive for excellence in every detail. I always strove not just to do a job, but to create an atmosphere that made all guests feel welcome. I quickly learned that it's the little things that make the biggest difference, such as personal attention and the pursuit of perfect service. This quickly led to various jobs in upscale hotels at home and abroad.

All these experiences laid the foundation for my later journey into interior design. This allowed me to follow and, in some cases, participate in various renovation projects in the hotel industry. During this time, I developed a deep understanding of materials, colors, shapes, and textures, and quickly learned how important it is to use the right materials in the right place and to understand how to care for them in order to guarantee longevity. In my free time, I traveled a lot and discovered a love for architecture. I was particularly inspired by modernism and postmodernism. So, in 2021, I decided to study interior design. After successfully graduating from STF in Zurich in 2023, I founded Studio w A24 the following year.
