Heimat is a strong brand for gourmet and lifestyle products made exclusively from local raw materials. We use hemp, tobacco, peppermint, chamomile, and many other plants grown in Switzerland. We are convinced that responsible people know what is good for them—and what is not. That is why we offer products ranging from cigarettes to hemp flowers to teas that are enjoyable and beneficial: first for the body, then for the soul—and sometimes for both.

The Swiss hemp pioneers

Heimat products are manufactured by Pada Switzerland, a company founded in 2024 that emerged from the start-up Koch & Gsell. In 2017, the company scored a coup: it launched the world's first tobacco-hemp cigarette, causing an international sensation. In the summer of 2019, Europe's first industrially manufactured pre-roll made of pure hemp in cigarette form followed. Since hemp cannot be processed like tobacco due to the resin it contains, these products represent a technical innovation. Pada Switzerland has patented the processes used to manufacture the products.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 100 compounds found in the hemp plant. CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is part of the nervous system and includes cannabinoid receptors. The endocannabinoid system plays an important role in maintaining internal balance. It influences mood, the immune system, the sleep cycle, metabolism, and the cardiovascular system. The specific positive effects of CBD are the subject of various medical studies.
