A genuine Bernese Oberland restaurant
The Kreuzweg restaurant in Unterlangenegg is located near Thun, in a beautiful hiking area. The post bus stop is right in front of the building, making our restaurant the ideal place for a stopover. Car parking is also available.
We offer traditional Swiss cuisine in a rustic atmosphere. The dishes consist of Swiss classics made with seasonal ingredients. When selecting ingredients, we make sure to use products from the region.
Whether for a morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, or dinner, you are sure to find something to suit your taste on our menu. For those with a smaller appetite, we serve an aperitif platter with dry sausage and cheese.
The restaurant has a cozy dining room, a small hall, a large banquet hall for weddings and other celebrations, and two terraces. You can enjoy the morning sun on the second terrace behind the building. With an outdoor playground and an indoor play area, even our youngest guests will never get bored.
The team
The Kreuzweg restaurant has been run by Peter Wenger and his wife Sandra Wenger since 2007. Peter Wenger enjoys personal contact with his guests. He can be found serving when he is not working behind the scenes as an all-rounder. Mrs. Wenger, as chef, together with two assistant chefs, ensures the culinary well-being of the guests.
