After 30 years of loyal service in the family vineyards and in the field, with wine merchants and restaurant owners, Christian GOSSET changed his life at the age of 50 and decided to make his own wine, quite simply. Born from his 5 ha vineyard, in the villages of Avenay-Val d’Or, Chouilly, Dizy, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and Aÿ, his range of wines is meant to be distinctive, expressive, frank and sincere, like the man himself. The vineyard is run in a very reasoned manner, with zero weed killers, zero insecticides and organic treatments. Real sincere wines, straight from the neck, that will keep us glued from the first sip! To put in its cellar presto! CHAMPAGNE BRUT A02 GRAND CRU Open nose on pear, citrus zest and yellow flowers. In the mouth, it is frank, vinous and tonic with a discreet aniseed touch. Very nice acidic and slightly chalky finish. It asks for more! CHAMPAGNE GRAND CRU “LA CHEMINEE” 2017 Discreet citrus nose, iodized and exotic. Sharp attack of mouth with a slender balance. The effervescence is perfectly mastered and accompanies a full and firm texture on aromas of anise and white peach. Long chalky and slightly saline finish. What a great wine !

Unsere Gruppe vom 100er-Club FC Winterthur wurde in Zandone bestens betreut, informiert und verwöhnt. Beeindruckt waren wir vom Barriquekeller mit dem theatralisch aufgemachten Cheminée mit echtem Feuer, dem informativen Museum, natürlich der modernen Produktion und nicht zuletzt dem sorgfältig betreuten Reifelager für den Aceto balsamico. Die liebevoll gestaltete Degustation bildete den krönenden Abschluss. Beim anschliessenden Diner in der Botega del Vino in Locarno war das Team dort für eine nahtlose Fortsetzung des gelungenen Anlasses besorgt.
