Wanner Distillery was born from the takeover of Absintissimo by Romain, the youngest son of René Wanner. Romain continues the pursuit of quality initiated by his father, who was awarded more than 180 medals for his products during his fifteen years of activity. While absinthe remains the flagship product of the distillery, its gins are also well worth a try. All the spirits sold by the distillery are produced and distilled on-site in Couvet, and made from natural and as much as possible, local ingredients. Using a recipe dating back to 1935, Claude-Alain has revived production of Charlotte la Clandestine, named after its original creator. Variations have emerged, such as Clandestine Blanche Intense, Clandestine Verte and Clandestine Crème d'absinthe.
