The Centre d'Orthokératologie et de Contrôle de la Myopie (COCM) is a specialized eye care center focused on the prevention, monitoring, and treatment of myopia progression. Located in the center of Lausanne, it provides comprehensive vision examinations, especially for children and adolescents, to detect and slow down the development of myopia. The center offers modern solutions such as orthokeratology (night contact lenses) and specialized contact lenses designed for myopia control. These treatments can improve vision and help reduce the progression of myopia while allowing patients to see clearly during the day without glasses. The team includes an ophthalmologist, an optometrist, an orthoptist, and medical staff to provide comprehensive and personalized patient care.

MIOS - HRA is a medical office offering high level ophthalmic services in both comprehensive ophthalmology and specialized care in retinal diseases (medical and surgical) and all aspects of ocular inflammation. Its director, professor Marc de Smet obtained his medical degree in Canada. He is board certified in Canada, the United States, and Europe. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, Royal College of Ophthalmologists of the UK, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He has an international reputation in the medical and surgical treatments of retinal diseases and uveitis. He has received several international awards for his contributions and innovations and was elected to the Retinal Hall of Fame in 2022. Ongoing collaborations maintain close ties with many world renowned centers. The team includes board certified optometrists, ophthalmologists which allows us to cover also general ophthalmology, optometric exams, refractions and glasses prescription, contact lenses and night lenses, myopia management of children and adolescents). Minor procedures including injections are performed in the office, more involved surgery in one of several local clinics chosen according to the operation and need of the patient.
