Philosophically, the osteopath seeks to identify the primary cause that generates the symptom by working through various systems (articular, visceral, cranial, energetic), considering the symptom within a holistic view of the human being. Physiotherapy Physiotherapy is a paramedical discipline aimed at treating or restoring the integrity of the locomotor system using natural methods such as massage, mobilization of soft tissues (skin, muscles, fascia), active exercises, passive or semi-active joint mobilizations, electrotherapy, or the use of heat and cold.
