ECAP has been active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2007. The first regional office was opened in Lausanne in 2009 thanks to the implementation of a project in cooperation with the UNIA Vaud Trade union. As a result of the development of our activities, a second seat was inaugurated in Vevey in 2010 and we have further developed our field of activity and our educational programme. ECAP Vaud currently offers courses in Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fond, Le Sentier, Neuchâtel, Nyon, Vevey and Yverdon-les-Bains. ECAP Vaud is an active member of the Coordination romande pour la formation de base des adultes (CRFBA) and the Vaud platform of French courses as a foreign language. ECAP Vaud has also signed a cooperation agreement with UNIA Vaud. ECAP Vaud is involved in several European adult education projects. ECAP Vaud has a small team of 40 teachers, working with enthusiasm and professionalism in an informal working environment. We give great importance to the exchange of views and mutual respect. ECAP Vaud offers a large variety of language courses and professional development courses. Our programme is very wide and allows you to choose the right course according to your level or profession: • Intensive French A1- B1 courses • Midweek courses A1- B2 courses • French writing and conversation courses • Professional French courses in the cleaning, construction and landscaping industry • Galateo, professional French course in the hotel and catering sector • Progredir, advanced training courses for migrant women employed in the cleaning sector as well as in hotels or restaurants (a joint project in cooperation with Unia) • TREM, job application courses for migrants • Computer courses The courses are open to everybody. As there was still no taxi service in Rolle, he advised him to acquire a black Mercedes 180 and Dany began working on its behalf as a taxi driver. The first years were difficult, but always with his eternal enthusiasm he served his customers and friends day and night. In 1975, he launched into the tourism and transportation of school children with its first bus, Saurer 2H who served for many years. Offering good service with competitive price, the acquisition of another coach became urgent. After the crisis of the 90s and a sharp economic downturn, he had to restructure its business to better face the future. At the beginning of 2008 with increasing economic activity, he decided, after 45 years as an independent, creating a company with his son Jerome. Today, the company's fleet was considerably enlarged. De plus, les vendeurs et réparatrice adorent échanger leurs expériences et savoir faire. J'ai pu agréablement faire mon choix et mettre de côté les instruments pour revenir un jour où il y avait moins de personnes et nous avons pu élaborer un mode de payement calmement, ce qui me mettait très à l'aise.
