We also regularly have used instruments for sale. We try to keep this section as up to date as possible. However, we recommend visiting us in person, as our second-hand section is constantly changing.

We also purchase used instruments or take them on commission. If you are interested, simply contact us.

 

Rental

We are one of the largest rental companies for percussion instruments of all kinds in Switzerland. Our customers are impressed by our comprehensive selection of instruments, our professional advice, and our reliability in on-site delivery (upon request). We can offer almost any percussion instrument you could dream of.

 

Repair & service

An important advantage for our customers is that we do not only see ourselves as sellers of percussion instruments, but also provide advice and assistance if your favorite instrument needs to be repaired or modified.

In our own workshop, we can restore your instruments to their former glory, no matter what type they are. Thanks to our technical equipment and expertise, we are also ideally equipped to modify your instrument according to your specifications.

Since 2011, we have also been offering our own custom drum line, Biit Custom Drums. If you can't find what you're looking for or aren't satisfied with the big manufacturers, you've come to the right place. We can fulfill almost any request or bold idea, and we use only the best components.

Pro Percussion AG was founded in May 2005 by Claude Conradi and has since become the largest specialist retailer for percussion instruments of all kinds in northwestern Switzerland.

Claude Conradi

Claude Conradi has been working in this industry for over 35 years and can draw on many years of experience and a large network of contacts. An ambitious amateur drummer, he has been playing in a rock-blues band and in the percussion ensemble of the Drumschool Basel for many years. He is the go-to person when it comes to classical instruments such as marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, kettledrums, etc. And kettledrum repairs are his favorite pastime...

Beat Schürpf

 

Beat Schürpf joined the company in June 2005. He has also been involved in the drum business for a long time and has a wealth of expertise. At the same time, he is a versatile drummer and percussionist. His musical highlights are and have been:

BAUM, The Lost Art, Slimboy, Top Secret Drum Corps, Blush, Stickstoff, The Disco Experience, Fasnchtsgesellschaft Gundeli.

In 2011, he founded the house brand Biit Custom Drums and has been manufacturing drums to customer specifications ever since.

Marco "Caco" Brander

Marco "Caco" Brander is certainly known to many as the drummer of the band "More Experience," which is considered one of the best Jimi Hendrix tribute bands worldwide. Caco is also a true cajon specialist and has been sitting on the drum stool for "The Blackberry Brandies" since 2013.

 

Together we form a strong team and always strive to provide our customers with the best possible service. Our aim is to present a wide and varied range of products, offer our customers friendly and competent advice, and place great emphasis on service.
Since we all enjoy our work very much, we do everything we can to create a positive atmosphere (or "vibe") in our store and hope that our customers feel comfortable at Pro Percussion.

HALL OF FAME

Bela Szigeti has been with us since our company was founded and has over 15 years of experience in the drum business. He has also been a passionate professional drummer since his youth and plays in various jazz bands. We sometimes call him Tony because, in our eyes, Bela is the reincarnation of Tony Williams. So, if anyone wants to know how Mr. Williams played, just ask Bela. At the beginning of 2017, Bela entered his well-deserved retirement.
