No symphony orchestra or chamber ensemble can do without string instruments. Violin makers are responsible for the manufacture and maintenance of violins and violas. Forty years ago, Felix Hefti from Basel was introduced to the centuries-old art of violin making. Thirty years ago, he opened his own workshop on Holbeinstrasse. On Telebar, he now demonstrates his ancient craft and talks about what the future of violin making looks like in the digital age.

Repairs

I carry out simple maintenance work, sound improvements, or complex work on your string instrument with care and pleasure.

If required, I will provide you with a reliable and detailed cost estimate for all work to be carried out.

Timely work is a matter of course.
