Braces can help. Correcting tooth alignment is rarely a simple treatment. However, in most cases, teeth can be adjusted as desired, regardless of your age. Correcting tooth alignment can take varying amounts of time. One to two years is a good estimate.

Treatment process:

Initial consultation: 15 minutes: Together, we define the orthodontic goals and options.

• Planning documents: 30 minutes: Detailed documents may be prepared during the initial consultation or at a second appointment. I need these for reliable planning. This involves relatively high costs, so it only makes sense if you are convinced that you want to go ahead with treatment.
• Second consultation if necessary: 15 minutes: Based on the detailed planning, I can now explain various options to you, including individualized cost estimates. The aim of the consultation is to find the treatment that is right for you and that I consider medically appropriate.
• Bonding: 1 hour: The braces are now fitted.
• Check-ups: 15 min: On average, approximately 15 check-ups are required.
• Debonding: 1 hour: The braces are removed. A fine stabilizing wire is bonded behind the front teeth to ensure that the results are long-lasting.
• Retention check: 5 min: The stabilizing wire should be checked annually.

 
 

During this time, I am dependent on your cooperation.

 

• Teeth must be brushed thoroughly
• Braces must be treated with care (to avoid damage)
• Aids such as elastic bands must be worn reliably
