PHYSIOTHERAPY
1) Manual therapy
Passive joint mobilization improves joint mobility and function, providing local relief and pain reduction.
I use the techniques developed by Maitland, Kaltenborn-Evjenth, and McKenzie.
2) Myofascial techniques
Myofascial release is a gentle, deep connective tissue technique that acts on the tension network that envelops and connects the entire body.
3) Manual trigger point treatment including dry needling
Manual trigger point treatment involves applying intense manual pressure to the trigger points to stimulate metabolism and blood circulation and relax the muscles.
Dry needling is a highly effective form of therapy for treating myofascial trigger points (locally limited muscle hardening) using sterile disposable acupuncture needles.
4) Rehabilitation
Active therapy to restore muscle function, muscle coordination, strength, and stability.
My focus is on local and segmental stability and movement coordination. Both serve as the basis for overall strength, economical movement, and learning new movement patterns.
5) Supportive techniques
Elastic bandages, thermotherapy, and electrotherapy support active and/or passive therapy. Classic taping, easy taping, heat therapy, cold therapy, ultrasound.
PILATES
Individual training
Individually tailored training on the mat, with a clear focus on possible complaints or physical limitations.
We work on restoring muscle function, muscle coordination, strength, and stability.
My focus is on the local and segmental stability of the spine and on movement coordination. Both serve as the basis for overall strength, economical movement, and learning new movement patterns.
GOLF PHYSIO
Specialized therapy for golfers offers individualized treatment tailored to the needs and requirements of golf.
The problem is identified by means of a swing analysis and a brief assessment. I then draw up a therapy plan with exercises for stability, mobility, and coordination. The therapy is supported by a variety of physiotherapy techniques.
Golf physiotherapy can help you improve your performance and minimize the risk of injury. The therapy plan can be used both preventively and for rehabilitation.
