Le Tsalè is a restaurant renowned for its traditional Fribourg dishes.
In this warm and welcoming setting, we offer a wide range of traditional specialties, such as fondue moitié-moitié or vacherin, macaroni with cream sauce, and chalet soup. Not to mention the famous meringues and double cream.
We have a banquet room for around 30 people.
A daily special is served from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, you can enjoy ham on the bone and sausage accompanied by gratin dauphinois and vegetables.
In summer, we offer a menu of salads and raw vegetables, always made with local produce. Serac and tomme d'alpage are seasonal cheeses.
The Tsalè's reputation is also based on its history, which began with Raoul Colliard: he rebuilt the restaurant on the model of the alpine chalet that stood on the same site and burned down completely in 1976. This chalet was called "Les Paccots" and gave its name to the village.
I took over the establishment in 2009 and remain faithful to what my father created, while adding my own personal touch.
The village of Les Paccots offers many opportunities to enjoy the mountains with your family. There are many activities to enjoy, such as skiing, skating, hiking, and snowshoeing on marked trails.
