The practice was founded in Mendrisio, in Via Motta, back in 1939 by dentist Dr. Carlo Bächtold. It later moved to a more modern and spacious practice in Via Lavizzari 21 in Mendrisio.

Over the years, the practice grew and in 1974, Dr. Enrico Bächtold, the son of the founder, joined the practice and later took over its management.

In 2010, Dr. Alessandro Perucchi joined the team as a dental assistant. Two years later, he took over the practice and became its owner. At the same time, Dr. Enrico Bächtold announced his decision to leave the business to devote himself to his hobbies.
