Pousaz Vins Sàrl

Located in the hamlet of Verschiez (Ollon, Chablais Vaudois), it was taken over in 2017 by Alexandre from his father André.

Alexandre (winemaker, certified wine merchant and ESp oenologist), assisted by his wife Anina, founded Pousaz Vins Sàrl with the aim of revitalizing and modernizing the estate's wines while respecting family tradition.

The Pousaz family's connection to Chablais and even Ollon dates back to 1314. In 1984, Paul and André (Alexandre's grandfather and father) bottled part of their harvest at the estate for the first time. Until then, the entire harvest had been delivered to the cooperatives in Aigle (Celliers du Chablais) and Ollon (Artisans Vignerons d'Ollon).

 

The Verschiez vineyard, located on clay-limestone soil, benefits from an exceptional microclimate with Mediterranean characteristics that allow many grape varieties to ripen. The estate's vines are cultivated by André, Eugenia, and Pascal (Alexandre's father, mother, and brother) in accordance with PER (required ecological services) and the Vitiswiss charter. These modern cultivation techniques guarantee respect for the environment with a view to sustainable development.
