The warm & fascinating old town hotel
Our cozy 4-star hotel is located in the heart of Thun's old town, adjacent to the beautiful River Aare, almost beneath Thun Castle and surrounded by the magnificent Bernese Oberland.
For over half a century (1972), the Krone has been a meeting place for relaxation and enjoyment. Our young, dynamic team puts its heart and soul into creating memories that last. That's why our traditional hotel and restaurant stands for shared experiences. Take your time and let yourself be inspired.
In addition to 33 modern hotel rooms and 3 suites, our establishment includes a varied restaurant with two different restaurants (Grill & China), a beautiful Aare terrace, a cozy "Föndü-Hüsli" and a unique smokers' lounge. Our banquet and meeting rooms can accommodate up to 70 people.
