Cave Chantevigne

The Chantevigne winery is a small family business founded in 1984 by Raphaël Vergère. At the time, he was 26 years old and had just graduated from the Changins School of Viticulture and Oenology.

After taking over the family estate of around two hectares, he also rented vineyards and now cultivates five hectares.

Raphaël, who is also a nurseryman, is one of the last six active nurserymen in Valais. He is dedicated to preserving indigenous grape varieties in the Valais vineyards.

His vineyard is located entirely in the commune of Vétroz, whose superbly exposed hillside is exclusively in the first zone.

The winery is located at 25 Rue Conthey in Vétroz. Raphaël can accommodate up to 15 people every day by appointment in his very friendly and welcoming carnotzet.
