The Morget Fire and Rescue Service (SIS Morget) brings together 24 urban and rural municipalities from the Morges region, representing over 55,000 residents . Created on July 1, 2011 as an inter-municipal association and operational since January 1, 2012 , SIS Morget works daily with proximity, discipline, and commitment to ensure the safety of the population. Our structure includes: • a First Response Detachment (DPS) spread over 3 sites, • a Support Detachment (DAP) with 3 specialized sections, • and an in-house training school (EFDPS and EFO) for both basic and ongoing firefighter training. Strong and comprehensive training At SIS Morget, training is a priority : from using self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) to obtaining a truck driving license , from fall protection to technical drills and operating emergency vehicles – each firefighter is rigorously and progressively trained. We are also proud to welcome Young Firefighters (JSP) from the age of 10 , to pass on the values of solidarity, courage, and service to the community from an early age. In case of emergency, call 118 SIS Morget is ready to respond 365 days a year, 24/7 , for fires, floods, natural disasters, traffic accidents, or other emergency situations. The Morges site also intervenes on highways for road rescue operations . Musical Riviera is a musical theater school based in Montreux that offers holiday workshops for children, teens, and adults, as well as masterclasses and individual singing lessons. Starting in August 2025, we will offer a weekly musical theater workshop. Musical Riviera is for anyone interested in exploring all aspects of musical theater: singing, dancing, acting. It’s a place dedicated to discovery, artistic expression, and the blossoming of our young (and not so young!) talents. We believe in the power of music, dance, and theater to change lives, and we are committed to making every student a shining star in a supportive and inspiring environment.
