As a general bookstore, we place a special emphasis on Francophone and translated literature , while leaving room for quirky literary gems and our staff picks . With us, the atmosphere is simple, warm, and authentic — a bookshop “like when you were young,” with a reading corner to settle in, a children’s area to browse peacefully, and personalized advice to help you leave with the right book. Our story We opened our doors in Rolle in 1987 . The bookshop has grown over the years thanks to a passionate team and the loyalty of local readers. In August 2022 , we began a new chapter: Laure Paccaud , a Rolloise who returned after ten years abroad, took over the bookshop of her childhood. The adventure continues with family and our team, in the same spirit: closeness, curiosity, and the desire to share books that make you feel alive.
