ECAP has been active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2007. The first regional office was opened in Lausanne in 2009 thanks to the implementation of a project in cooperation with the UNIA Vaud Trade union. As a result of the development of our activities, a second seat was inaugurated in Vevey in 2010 and we have further developed our field of activity and our educational programme. ECAP Vaud currently offers courses in Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fond, Le Sentier, Neuchâtel, Nyon, Vevey and Yverdon-les-Bains. ECAP Vaud is an active member of the Coordination romande pour la formation de base des adultes (CRFBA) and the Vaud platform of French courses as a foreign language. ECAP Vaud has also signed a cooperation agreement with UNIA Vaud. ECAP Vaud is involved in several European adult education projects. ECAP Vaud has a small team of 40 teachers, working with enthusiasm and professionalism in an informal working environment. We give great importance to the exchange of views and mutual respect. ECAP Vaud offers a large variety of language courses and professional development courses. Our programme is very wide and allows you to choose the right course according to your level or profession: • Intensive French A1- B1 courses • Midweek courses A1- B2 courses • French writing and conversation courses • Professional French courses in the cleaning, construction and landscaping industry • Galateo, professional French course in the hotel and catering sector • Progredir, advanced training courses for migrant women employed in the cleaning sector as well as in hotels or restaurants (a joint project in cooperation with Unia) • TREM, job application courses for migrants • Computer courses The courses are open to everybody. Unia members and people on welfare pay benefit from reduced prices. ECAP Vaud is also an accredited center for fide test. Here you can find more information .

SDIS Etraz-Région provides fire protection, rescue services, and emergency response for the Aubonne area and surrounding municipalities. The organization is made up of professional and volunteer firefighters, equipped to handle various incidents such as fires, accidents, and natural disasters. The Etraz Region Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS Etraz-Région) brings together the forces of several municipalities in the region, representing a large and diverse local population. Established as an inter-municipal association, SDIS Etraz-Région acts every day with dedication, professionalism, and proximity to ensure the safety of residents. Our organization is structured around: • First Response Units (DPS) located in Aubonne, Rolle, Gimel, and Bière • Support Units (DAP) in Longirod and Gilly, with specialized sections • An internal training school dedicated to initial and continuous firefighter training Comprehensive and rigorous training At SDIS Etraz-Région, training is a top priority: from respiratory equipment use to heavy vehicle driving, including fall protection, advanced technical exercises, and emergency vehicle operations, every firefighter receives thorough and progressive instruction. We also proudly welcome Young Firefighters (JSP) from the age of 10, to pass on the values of solidarity, courage, and community service from an early age. In case of emergency, dial 118 SDIS Etraz-Région is available 24/7, all year long, to respond to fires, floods, natural disasters, road accidents, and other emergencies. Our units also operate on major roads for extrication and rescue missions.
