L'atmosfera è alquanto accogliente e il personale è estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz’altro la cucina. In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti tipici della tradizione. Prezzo assolutamente adeguato all'esperienza vissuta. Consigliatissimo a tutti gli amanti del buon cibo!

Here, history merges with the life of the people of Lugano, offering a new culinary interpretation that celebrates the past with a fresh and contemporary vision, using high-quality ingredients preferably sourced from local suppliers. On the banks of the Cassarate River stood the Osteria del Porto, which over the years has earned the title of "Antica" (Ancient). Its centuries-old history dates back to the nineteenth century when it was a landing point for goods from barges. An Osteria, yes, but different: in tones, colors, and signs. A menu proposal between innovation and tradition, with the lake and mountains blending and meeting in the menus of Chef Domenico Rezza. We accompany the dishes with a selection of local and Italian wines, served with care by our dining staff. And then the special occasions, the happy hours, the exclusive terrace for private events. Awards The Locanda Orico restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star and scored 16/20 points in Gault & Millau (Rising Star of the Year 2003). In 2021, it received the Swiss Culinary Merit Award. The Wine Cellar The Locanda Orico restaurant offers a cellar with many labels of fine wines, including the best selection of local and international wines. Our professional sommeliers will be happy to advise you and meet your every need. We also have an excellent selection of half-bottles, and you can also ask to pair your menus with wine by the glass. Ho portato un tavolino di legno antico che aveva diverse macchie. La Falegnameria Svanotti ha fatto un ottimo lavoro, ha dato una nuova vita al tavolino senza renderlo "troppo" nuovo. Dunque lasciandoli la sua naturale bellezza. Lavoro serio e professionale.
