Chef Simon Theus is a master of culinary craftsmanship. For more than 40 years, he has pursued his passion in the kitchen and learned his trade from the ground up. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in renowned, award-winning restaurants, as a ship’s chef aboard the luxury liner Queen Elizabeth II, and through numerous engagements in Switzerland and abroad. His broad culinary expertise combines classical cuisine with international refinement. In 1991, he graduated as a certified restaurateur from the prestigious EHL in Lausanne.

Founded in Zurich 1904, the Zürcher Brockenhaus is still committed to social and environmentally friendly ethics to this day. That seems more important than ever: two world wars, the development of prosperity in the 1950s, the oil crisis in the 1970s and the collapse in prices in recent decades have led to a thoughtless use of resources and goods. Our carpentry workshop restores, paints, dyes and also creates furniture in small series. We have our own upholstery studio here in-house. Our selection is large and unique. In our store you will find: - furniture - lamps - clothes - books and everything else your heart desires.
