Since 1998, we have been offering a wide selection of different cheeses, especially from the region, at our cheese dairy in Plaffeien.
The Chees Stübli in the Migros Center in Düdingen opened in 2010.

The canton of Fribourg (Switzerland), located at the foot of the Alps, with fertile, healthy soil, a pleasant climate, and an ideal geographical location, is perfectly suited to agriculture and dairy farming.
Located in the natural environment of the Alpine foothills, master cheesemaker Yvan Aeby and his staff enthusiastically continue the tradition of processing milk into cheese at the Büel/Plaffeien and Wengliswil/Alterswil cheese dairies.
Using milk that is carefully milked and delivered to the cheese dairy twice a day by its suppliers, Gruyère AOP, Fribourg Vacherin AOP, "Schwarzsee" mountain cheese, mountain raclette, Sensler cream cheese, double cream, etc. are produced every day.
The idyllic Schwarzsee, partly located in the municipality of Plaffeien, has retained all its natural charm. The Schwarzsee region is particularly well known in tourist circles.
Majestic foothills, diverse sporting activities, wonderful hiking trails, the dreamy, legendary lake, and the generally charming atmosphere continue to captivate domestic and foreign tourists as well as the local population. The words of Gottfried Keller, who is said to have once said upon seeing this beauty, are most apt: "Drink, oh eyes, what your eyelashes hold of the golden abundance of the world!"
