Importers of Taste The company Costa Viola takes its name from a geographical area in the province of Reggio Calabria in southern Italy. Costa Viola Import is the result of a project developed by the Borruto family, originally from this region. It is a place that is hard to forget, and with the constructive nostalgia of someone who, even though fully integrated into Swiss life, feels the need to share their story and roots, they choose to do so in the most original way: through the routes of taste. A wide range of high-quality products is imported to Switzerland, serving restaurants, hoteliers, and private customers. Our history There were 30,000 Ticinese who emigrated to North America "California" from 1849 to 1918. The Grotto "GR8" America was the rendezvous where caravans on their way to Genoa and then set sail across the Atlantic Ocean waited. It was thus christened Grotto to America in 1890. Our cuisine Our cuisine focuses on offering traditional dishes with an innovative twist, mainly using all the good local products from Canton Ticino. Excellent repas (brochet) ds une atmosphère conviviable. A refaire....

Nous avons très bien mangé. Par contre, nous avons été installés à une table en face de la porte d'entrée. Ce qui nous a permis de bénéficier de tous les courants d'air froids à chaque ouverture de porte. C' était extrêmement désagréable....d' autant plus qu' une table (placée ds un endroit plus intime et chaleureux) est restée vide toute la soirée.

The hostess enjoys spoiling her guests with culinary delights, including an inviting breakfast buffet, an aperitif or a multi-course dinner. The location Sachseln is located halfway between Lucerne and Interlaken, on Lake Sarnen, which is nestled between unspoilt slopes and snow-capped mountains. The Sarneraa Valley stretches from the Brünig Pass to Lopper on Lake Lucerne. In terms of transport, it is connected to the national motorway network (A8) and the railway network (e.g. Zentralbahn). The surroundings Verena's Boutique Villa au Lac is located next to Sachseln railway station. A small park surrounds the stately house. Right next to the house is a public car park (subject to a charge), a charging station for electric cars, a Mobility car-sharing vehicle and the landing stage for the MS Seestern. A public sunbathing/swimming area by the lake is 100 metres away, and shops can be found on Bahnhofstrasse and at the village square within walking distance. The guest house This stately house with almost 100 years of history offers all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. It was completely renovated and refurbished in 2019. Upon entering, your gaze is drawn to the historic wooden staircase, which connects all floors of the house. The breakfast and lounge area is located on the mezzanine floor and has access to the garden. The two floors above contain six guest rooms with two spacious bathrooms and an additional guest WC. The library with access to the balcony offers privacy for working, reading or simply relaxing. The basement houses the home cinema and the house bar with chilled drinks and snacks. A small conference room with state-of-the-art presentation technology is available for meetings, workshops or corporate events. The gazebo complements the offer, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast during the warm season or read a book in the pleasant shade.

Je vais régulièrement au Resto de la Gare à Cully quand bien même il y a beaucoup d’autres opportunités gastronomiques dans la région. Le cadre est chaleureux, le personnel très sympathique et la nourriture excellente. Ce restaurant a une « âme » et on s’y sent bien. De plus, le rapport prix/qualité est très correct. Bravo JLV.
