Ils ont donc 15-17 ans. • Les jeunes suisses allemands ont terminé leur apprentissage voir leurs études ou effectuent une année intermédiaire pendant leurs études. Ils ont plus de 18 ans et travaillent 30 ou 35 heures par semaine. Ce programme est aussi possible par semestre. • Ils viennent étudier le français et travailler comme au pair de mi-août à mi-juillet. • Les jeunes sont nourris et logés dans les familles et travaillent entre 18, 25, 30 et 35 heures par semaine. Ils rentrent en Suisse allemande deux week-ends par mois en moyenne. • Ils vont à l’école entre 2 et 5 demi-journées par semaine. • Travaux prévus dans la famille d’accueil : garde d’enfants, aide au ménage, cuisiner, s’occuper d’animaux ou autres petits travaux. D’autres viennent 2 semaines en été. • Les jeunes suivent des cours à plein temps à l’école et ne travaillent pas dans leur famille d’accueil. • Ils paient les familles d’accueil pour le logement et la demi-pension. Notre organisation n'est pas seulement localisée en Suisse romande, mais également à Berne. Nos collègues, avec lesquels nous sommes en contact permanent, s'occupent d'informer et de communiquer avec les parents. De plus, nous avons mis sur pied un système de sélection efficace : chaque jeune est invité à une journée intensive à Lausanne qui comprend un cours de préparation, différents tests (linguistique, psychologique, etc.), l'analyse des motivations et des connaissances. Nos responsables des familles, que vous rencontrez lors de votre inscription, effectuent un entretien personnel avec chaque élève afin de choisir le/la jeune qui correspond à vos besoins. 12ième année scolaire en Angleterre, Berne ou au Tessin Une 12ème année combinée avec une année linguistique comme au pair ou élève plein temps Pour beaucoup d’élèves, le choix de l’orientation en fin de 11ème est très difficile. Ils aimeraient acquérir plus de maturité et d’autonomie afin de prendre la bonne décision. Nous pensons que notre 12ème année linguistique représente une réponse adéquate et un choix particulièrement judicieux. En effet, l’année Didac propose une immersion dans une autre région linguistique (à Berne pour l’allemand, à Lugano pour l’italien et à Eastbourne – sud de l’Angleterre – pour l’anglais), tout en consolidant les branches de la 11ème à l’aide de divers cours à option (français/mathématiques, allemand en Angleterre, etc.). Après une année de renforcement et d’apprentissage de l’autonomie, loin des parents et de leur zone de confort, nos élèves reviennent en confiance aborder la suite de leur parcours, qu’il soit scolaire ou professionnel. Gerade habe ich den Blockchain Kurs an der Benedict beendet. Unser Lehrer, Herr Altinok, war so wie man sich einen Lehrer wünscht, motiviert und gut vorbereitet. Viel Arbeitsmaterial wurde vorgelegt und auch als ich fehlte, wurde mir ein Dossier zusammengestellt. Klar war es nicht einfach nach einem langen Arbeitstag noch die Schulbank zu drücken, im Nachhinein muss ich aber sagen, es hat richtig Spass gemacht. Die Klasse war super, zudem hat es mich neu vernetzt. Mein Fazit; ich kann jedem einen Kurs an der Benedict empfehlen.

Die Lehrer geben sich sehr viel Mühe und nehmen sich extra Zeit um Schwieriges verständlich zu machen.
